The challenges of our moment are real and compounding: continued attacks on fundamental freedoms and civil rights, the accelerating consequences of the climate crisis, autocrats and populists fracturing the international order. The foundations of the rules-based international system are under strain.
Progress & Change Partnerships builds partnerships with environmnetal and human rights defenders, civil society and reform-minded institutions who are pushing back. Together, we adapt and innovate. We hold governments and institutions to their commitments, despite limited resources and real pressure on civil society.
We see ourselves as one link in a larger chain. We stand firm on the values that hold that chain together. Our role is to help our partners' work gain ground and last.

- Action Lab: We design advocacy and outreach campaigns, and manage them when our partners need it.
- Research Lab: We identify and track the political and institutional openings that can advance the causes we share with our partners.
