At Progress & Change Partnerships we knew what we were up to — and we were ready.
The international human rights framework came under sustained attack: foreign aid terminated, withdrawals from institutions and treaties, a normative contagion reaching well beyond the United States. The 2025 Sustainable Development Goals Report confirmed that, at the end of this decade, humanity risks being worse off than at its start. A lost decade for humanity.

2024: Our First Full Year
We cannot remain idle when we believe our contribution could make a positive impact.
That belief guided us through a year marked by global instability, growing authoritarianism, and shrinking civic space — and it continues to guide us as we face what comes next.
From coordinating the Campaign to End Repression in Azerbaijan, to advising the DCAF - Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance, and building new platforms, our work in 2024 was grounded in solidarity, strategy, and impact.
